Bath sheet

Our selection : Bath sheet.

3 produits

The bath sheet is the largest piece of bath linen. It is the one you reach for when stepping out of the bath or shower, and the one that gives the feeling of being wrapped up rather than merely dried.

Bath sheet or shower towel?

The difference lies in the size, and therefore the use. The bath sheet, in 100x150 cm or 100x180 cm, wraps around the body and dries a whole person without any contortions.

The shower towel in 70x140 cm is easier to handle and dries faster. It suits quick showers, narrow bathrooms and children.

Many households keep both: the bath sheet for the evening, the shower towel for the morning.

Choosing your size

Bath sheet 100x150 cm

The standard size. It amply covers an adult and remains easy to dry and to store. This is the one you choose by default when equipping a family bathroom.

Bath sheet 100x180 cm

Thirty centimetres more in length, which changes the way you wrap yourself: the sheet goes right around the body with real room to spare. It suits taller people and anyone who likes the generous hotel format.

Weight and absorbency

A bath sheet must absorb quickly. The weight measures the density of the looping: the higher it is, the greater the absorbent surface, but the longer the drying time.

At around 450 to 500 gsm, you get the compromise that suits most bathrooms: dense enough to dry you efficiently, light enough to dry itself between uses.

Combed cotton

Our bath sheets are made of combed cotton. Combing removes the short fibres before spinning, the ones that come loose and form lint. The result is a more even fabric that sheds little and keeps its appearance wash after wash.

33 colours

The terry range comes in 33 colours. The neutral tones — white, ivory, pearl grey, taupe, string — outlast passing fashions and are easily replaced one at a time. The deep shades — petrol, navy, aubergine, cherry — bring character to an understated bathroom.

To fit out the whole room in a single colour, the bath linen pack brings the sizes together in one set.

Care

  • Wash at 40 °C for routine care, 60 °C occasionally
  • No fabric softener: it permanently reduces absorbency
  • Half a glass of white vinegar in the rinse keeps the softness
  • Shake before drying to lift the loops
  • Dry completely before folding

The first few washes release some lint, even with combed cotton: wash new linen separately the first few times.
